The Organisers

The NSCA Foundation and Westwick-Farrow Media formed a publishing partnership in 2016, with WFM now the publisher of National Safety magazine and the Safe-T-Bulletin, the membership media brands of the NSCA Foundation.

In August 2017, the organisations combined to launch SAFETYconnect, which attracted over 150 WHS leaders to the conference and several hundred more visitors to the exhibition. The goal of the event is to provide a networking, education and commerce platform for those working in and supplying to the workplace health and safety sector.

Westwick-Farrow Media

Westwick-Farrow Media is Australia’s largest privately owned and operated B2B specialist media company, producing 13 magazine and digital media brands (including Safety Solutions) and a range of specialist events.

The Westwick-Farrow Media events team has been running key industry events for over 15 years. In November 2016 they celebrated the 10 year anniversary of the critical communications and public safety event series, Comms Connect ( in Melbourne, with over 1000 attendees and 80 exhibitors and sponsors. The event runs in association with leading industry body, the Australian Radio Communications Industry Association (ARCIA).

NSCA Foundation

The NSCA Foundation is an independent, non-profit, member based organisation. Their vision is to assist Australian Workplaces to be the safest in the world and protect their most important asset – people. They do this by inspiring, educating, informing and engaging Australian business in best practice Work Health & Safety (WHS) and risk management. The NSCA Foundation team has previously managed and run the annual National Safety Conference, the sector’s premier conference in Australia.

Event marketing

As publisher of National Safety, SAFE-T-Bulletin and, it’s our job to understand the market and know our readers and members. Direct access to this audience enables us to focus in on and target numerous stakeholder groups like no other event organiser in the space. SAFETYconnect 2019 will be heavily promoted to over 38,000 targeted subscribers and members of the above media brands, and across other WF Media industry and technology brand audiences.

Additionally, the NSCA Foundation team will target their membership base to ensure a high quality audience attend the event. Previous National Safety Conference delegates will be included in this process.
